Shakib joins Jamaica for $110k

Sport Desk: Bangladesh ace allrounder Shakib Al Hasan has been picked up by Jamaica Tallawahs for $110,000 in the 2016 player draft of Caribbean Cricket League (CPL).
The No. 1 allrounder will play alongside Twenty-Twenty superstar Chris Gayle and legendary Sri Lankan cricketer Kumar Sangakkara.
Six other Bangladeshi cricketers - Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah, Mustafizur Rahman, Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim and Imrul Kayes were also in the players draft but were not picked up by any team.
Shakib played for Barbados Tridents in the first season of the franchise-based T20 tournament in 2013. He was not allowed by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to play in the last season of the tournament.
