Banks asked not to shut ATM transaction

Natun Sokal Report : Bangladesh Bank (BB) said that no direction was given to stop transactions using ATM booths, following stealing incident in booths.

Central bank spokesperson Executive Director Subhankar Saha confirmed the matter to media on Sunday noon. He said that if any banks shut their transaction, then action would be taken against them.

Earlier, on Friday, couple of banks stopped inter-banking service for their own security. Later, some more banks also stopped the service. As a result, customers of banks could not use ATM booths of others bank.
